Will of Olevia  A. M. (Alexander) Loane

April 23, 1896  Carroll County MD

Olevia A. M  Loane, being of sound and disposing mind and knowing the 
uncertainty of life and the certainty of death, do make this my last will and 
testament, first I commit myself in the hands of the Almighty God, then after 
my body has been decently buried and the expenses thereof paid, then the 
balance of my estate to be divided as follows-

First I bequeath unto Emily J. Dayhoff one dollar, and the balance of my 
estate to be equally divided share and share alike between the rest of my 
children to wit: Andrew S. Alexander, Edward D. Alexander, Ruben H. Alexander, 
Annie O. Lugenbeel, Carrie E. Koontz, Frannie C. Wilson, Martha V. Crumrine, 
Susie R. Bohn, Rosie A. Cassell, and I appoint Ruben Alexander to be my 
executor.

Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of John Elger and Albert Elger.

Maryland Carroll County, to Wit:
On the 4th day of August, 1896, before the Orphans' Court of Carroll county 
came Reuben H. Alexander, and in open court mad oath on the Holy Evangley of 
Almighty God that the above instrument of writing is true and whole last Will 
and Testament of Olivia A.M. Loane, late of Carroll County, deceased; that he 
found it since Rst atmps (sp?) death among her papers and that he does not 
know of any other will or codicil left be said deceased.
