In the name of God Amen.

I, John B. Himbury of Frederick County in the State of Maryland, being in 
perfect health of body and of sound and disposing mind, memory and 
understanding, considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the 
time thereof, and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the 
better prepared to leave this world when it shall please God to call me hence, 
do therefore make and publish this my last will and testament, in manner and 
form following, that is to say --

First and principally, I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God, and my 
body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor 
herinafter named, and after my debts and funeral charges are paid, I give, 
devise, and bequeath as follows --

Item, I give, devise, and bequeath unto my Grand-Daughter Julia Anna Cline, the 
sum of One hundred dollars, to be paid to her out of my personal estates.

Item, I give, devise, and bequeath unto my daughter Alice Virginia Roelkey wife 
of Edward Roelkey, all the rest and residue of my personal Estate, uncliding a 
Policy of Insurance upon my life in the "Prices Mutual Insurance Company" for 
Five hundred dollars to pay all my debts and funeral charges, and special 
bequest of one hundred dollars to pay all my debts and funeral charges, and 
special bequest of one hundred dollars to my Grand-daughter Julia Anna Cline, 
out of the same, and the balance (if any) to be disposed of by her, between 
herself and sisters, as she shall see fit and properly.

Item, I give, devise, and bequeath unto my daughter Alice Virginia Roelkey wife 
of Edward Roelkey my house and lot of Ground situate and being on the east side 
of South Market Street, Frederick City, adjoining the property of John Duvall 
and others, to her the said Alice Virginia and her heirs and assigns in fee 
simple.

Item, I give, devise, and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Elizabeth Keefer wife 
of George W. Keefer my Brick House and Lot of ground, situate lying and being on 
the south side of East South Street, Frederick City, Maryland, adjoining the 
property of William H. Hooper and others, for and during her natural life, and 
after her death, to go to her children to be equally dvided between them share 
and share alike.

Item, I give, devise, and bequeath unto my daughter Arabella Cline, wife of 
Thomas Cline, my Brick House and Lot of Ground, situate lying and being on the 
South Side of East South Street, Frederick City, adjoining the property of 
Thomas Hooper and others, for and during her natural life; but should my said 
Daughter survive her present Husband, then and in that event said property is to 
be hers, and her heirs, in fee simple; But in case my said Daughter should 
depart this life before her present Husband, then and in that even,t said 
property shall be sold by my Executor hereinafter named (if living) and the 
proceeds arising therefrom shall be divided equally between her children (if any 
should be living); if there should be no child or children living; then the said 
proceeds shall be equally divided between her two sisters or their heirs.

And Lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my son-in-law Edward Roelkey to 
be sole Executor of this my last will and testament, revoking and annulling all 
former wills by me heretofore made, ratifying and revoking and annulling all 
former wills by me heretofore made ratifying and confirming this and none other 
to be my last will and testament,

In testimony whereof, I hereunto set my hand, and affix my seal, this Fourteenth 
day of December in the year Eighteen hundred and seventy two.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named John B. Himbury, as 
and for his last will and testament in our presence, who at his request, in his 
presence, and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as 
witnesses hereto.
