In the Name of God Amen I Henry Hill of Frederick County in the Province of 
Maryland Farmer being weak and sick of Body but of sound mind & disposing memory 
do make this my Last Will and Testament in the Manner & Form following Viz. 
Imprimis my Will is that all my just Debts be paid & my Body buried after a 
Decent and Christian like manner by my Executors hereafter mentioned as soon as 
conveniently may be. Item I give and bequeath to my Son John Hill that part of a 
Tract of Land called Park Hall that I hold containing fifty acres. Item I give 
and bequeath all the rest of my personal Estate to be equally divided between my 
six Sons & three Daughters Viz. Robert Joseph Henry Truman Philip Thomas John 
Elizabeth Catherine & Ann. And lastly I constitute & appoint my Son Robert Hill 
& Joseph Hill to have the Seling of my Personal Estate and so divide it equally 
among them all.

On the 24th Day of March 1773 came Thomas Johnson & Thomas Jones two of the 
Subscribing Witnesses to the foregoing Will and made Oath on the holy 
Evangelists of Almighty God that they did see the Testator Henry Hill sign and 
Seal the said Will & heard him publish pronounce and declare the same to be his 
Last Will and Testament & that at the Time of his so doing he was to the best of 
their Apprehension of a sound and disposing mind & memory and that they 
severally subscribed their Names as Witnesses to the said Will & did see Thomas 
Duckett the other subscribing Witness to the said Will as a Witness thereto & 
that they severally subscribed their Names as Witnesses thereto in the presence 
of the said Testator & in the presence of each other.
