Frederick County MD Will Docket GM-2
(428) I Charles Fair of the County of Frederick and State of Maryland being
Sick and weak in Body but of Sound and disposing Mind, Memory and understanding
do make, publish pronounce and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in
Manner and form following, that is to say, I Give and Bequeath unto my Dearly
beloved Wife Mary, all my Estate Real and personal during her Natural life or
Widowhood for the purpose of Supporting my said Wife and the Maintenance and
Education of my Children, and after the Decease or Marriage of my said wife. I
give and Bequeath the said Estate. To my Children, To Wit, Michael Peter,
Mary, John, Charles, and Elizabeth. to be equally divided between them my said
Children, share and Share alike; Whereas I have sold onto Peter Slider of
Frederick County Fifty acres of Land part of The Resurvey on Brothers
Agreement, lying in the County aforesaid, I do therefore hereby authorise and
empower my said Wife Mary: to Convey unto the said Peter Slider his Heirs and
Assigns for Ever the said Land. so as aforesaid. Sold by me to him, and Lastly
I do Hereby Nominate ^ consumate(sp) and Appoint my Said Wife Mary. and the
said Peter Slider, Executors of this my last Will and Testament. hereby
revoking all Wills by me heretofore made ratifying and Confirming this and now
other to by my Last Will and Testament. In Witness where of I have hereto Set
my Hand and Seal this Eighteenth day of February Seventeen Hundred and Ninety
two

Then came Mary Fair and Peter Slider and Made Oath that the aforegoing Instru-
ment of writing is the true and whole Will and Testament of Charles Fair late
of Frederick County deceased, that hath come to their Hands and possession ----

Then came Leonhart Dill and Jno Gwinn two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the aforegoing last
Will and Testament of Charles Fair late of Frederick County Deceased and made Oath on the
Holy Evangels of Almighty God that they did see the Testator therein Named

and Testament, that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their Apprehens-
sions of sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding that they respectively (sp)
