In The Name of God Amen This twenty fifth day of November one thousand seven 
hundred and Eighty five I Andrew BOSTIAN of Frederick County and state of 
Maryland being sick and weak in Body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be 
unto God for the same, but calling unto mind that it is appointed once for all 
men to die I do make this my last will and Testament and first I give and 
bequeath my soul into the hands of almighty God my heavenly father that gave it 
hoping for the forgiveness of all my sins through the merits and intercessions 
of Jesus Christ My Blessed Redeemer, and my Body I leave to be Buried in a 
Christian like manner at the descretion of my Executor hereafter mentioned and 
as for my worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me in 
this life with I give and dispose in the manner and form following --- Imprimis 
I give and bequeath unto my Beloved wife Maria Alberdenia my bed and Furniture 
which we now lie on, also a red Cow, or her choice in the cows, her spining 
wheel, an Iron Pott and two Pewter dishes besides or thirds to her her heirs and 
assigns forever --- Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved children Anthony 
BOSTIAN, Jacob BOSTIAN and Henry BOSTIAN the whole of my Lands on the following 
conditions vizt. that is to say, that my Executor hereafter named to have the 
whole of my Lands appraised after my decease and that my Executor & son Anthony 
BOSTIAN, Jacob BOSTIAN and Henry BOSTIAN, have the land equally between them on 
their paying unto my well beloved Children as follows vizt. after the said 
Anthony, Jacob & Henry BOSTIAN draws two equal shares each from the appraisement 
the remainder to be paid one equal share, Cathrine DOTTS, John BOSTIAN, George 
BOSTIAN, Barbara BURYER, Christina SMITH, Michael BOSTIAN, Solome LOCK and Mary 
BOSTIAN to them their heirs and assigns forever. Item I give and bequeath unto 
my beloved wife the thirds of my Personal Estate and the remainder of my 
personal Estate I give and bequeath as follows Vizt. To Daniel BOSTIAN, 
Catharine DOTTS, John BOSTIAN, George BOSTIAN, Barbery BURRYER, Christianna 
SMITH, Michael BOSTIAN, Solome LOCK, Mary BOSTIAN, Anthony BOSTIAN, Jacob 
BOSTIAN & Henry BOSTIAN to be equally divided between them, to them their heirs 
and assigns forever --- And lastly I constitute ordain and appoint my well 
beloved son Anthony BOSTIAN my whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and 
Testament hereby revoking all former wills before this by me Made ratifying and 
confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness 
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and year above

Then came Anthony BOSTIAN and made oath that the aforegoing instrument of 
writing is the true and whole will and Testament of Andrew BOSTIAN late of 
Frederick County that hath come to his hands and Possession, and that he doth 
not know of any other.

Then came Adam CREAGER and Peter STEPHENS two of the subscribing witnesses to 
the aforegoing last Will and Testament of Andrew BOSTIAN late of Frederick 
County deceased and made oath and solemnly affirmed and declared that they did 
see the Testator Therein named sign and seal this Will that they heard him 
publish pronounce and declare the same to be his last will and Testament, that 
at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their apprehensions of a sound 
and disposing mind memory and understanding that they respectively subscribed 
their names as witnesses to this will in the presence and at the request of the 
Testator and that they did also see Joseph WOOD the other subscribing Witness 
sign his name as a Witness thereto in the presence and at the request of the

On the 27th day of February 1789 came Maria Alberdina BOSTIAN the widow of 
Andrew BOSTIAN late of Frederick County deceased and quitted her claim to the 
several bequests and Devises made to her in the will of her said husband 
Deceased and Elected in lieu Thereof her Dower or third part of the deceaseds

hundred and ninety three, I Mary Alberdean BOSTIAN widow of Andrew BOSTIAN of 
Frederick County and State of Maryland being weak in Body but of perfect mind 
and memory thanks be unto God for the same and calling to mind that it is 
appointed once for all Persons to Die I do make this my last Will and Testament, 
and First I give and bequeath my Soul unto the hands of Almighty God my Heavenly 
Father that gave it hoping for the Forgiveness of all my Sins through the merits 
and Intercessions of Jesus Christ my blessed Redeemer and my Body I leave to be 
Buried in a Christian like manner at the Discretion of my Executor hereafter 
named nothing Doubting but that I Shall receive the same again at the general

Item It is my will and desire that after my Just Debts and Burial Charges are 
paid the Whole of the Remainder of my Estate not Already Bequeathed I give and 
Bequeath unto my son Anthony BOSTIAN to him his heirs and Assigns forever

And Lastly I Constitute Ordain and appoint my son Anthony BOSTIAN my whole and
