OBITUARY: Lillian E. (Larson) Furleigh 1913-2002, Worth County, Iowa

                         Lillian E. Furleigh

Lillian E. Furleigh, 88, Northwood, died Thursday,  Oct. 10, 2002, at the
Lutheran Retirement Home, Northwood.

Lillian E. Furleigh was born Nov. 24, 1913 at Bolan, Iowa, a daughter of
Marse and Bertina (Espland) Larson.  She married Lee Dawson Furleigh on
April 1, 1933 at Decorah, IA.

Lillian was a graduate of Kensett High School, Kensett.  She lived in
Norfolk, VA from 1943-71, moving to Cedar Rapids, IA in 1971.  Lillian
returned to Northwood in 1992, and has resided at the Lutheran Retirement
Home since 1993.

She is survived by, a daughter, Margaret Warren and her husband Michael,
Eden Prairie, MN; a granddaughter, Deborah Chebetar and her husband Gerald,
Cheaspeake, VA; a great-grandson, Jason Chebetar, Pittsburgh, PA; several
nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee in 1967; a daughter, Bonnie
Angell, in 1974; two sisters, Glenore Jaspers and Bernice Dvorak; and a
brother, Lester Larson.

Conner Colonial Chapel,  Northwood, was in charge of arrangements.
