OBITUARY: Anna Everson, Worth County, Iowa


Mrs. Anna Everson (92) operated a boarding house in Lake Mills for 25
years.  She died Thursday (1963) at the Lutheran Retirement Home,
Northwood.   She was a native of Sogn, Norway and was born in 1871 to
Ludvig and Ingeborg Sanvik.  She married Ole Everson on June 12, 1889 in
Wisconsin.  He died in 1940.

Two children preceded her in death, Elma Henrietta and Lester Everson.

She is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. A.W. (Mattie) Anderson, Lake
Mills; Mrs. Otto (Emma) Olson, Gordonsville, MN; Mrs. Josephine Van Hurk,
Mrs. Ben (Esther) Doege and Mrs. Gilma Peterson, Albert Lea; Mrs. R.M.
(Laura) Seaman, Nora Springs and Mrs. Ted (Evelyn) Rumbley, Manly; a son,
Oden Everson, Glenville, MN; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren
and two sisters, Mrs. Gertie Simmons and Mrs. Gena Ausen, Lake Mills.

Her funeral was held at Salem, with Rev. Kvamme officiating, assisted
by Rev. Hatland, with burial in the Silver Lake Cemetery.
