OBITUARY: Jane Hagen, 1878-1963, Worth County, Iowa


                          Mrs. Jane Hagen

Mrs. Jane Hagen (84) lifetime resident of Worth Co., died and was buried
at the Sion Church cemetery, with the Rev. Harvey Gilbertson
officiating.  (Graphic 4-3-1963)  She died at the Lutheran Retirement
Home in Northwood on Monday.

She was born October 4, 1878 in Worth Co. to Mr. and Mrs. John Dokken.
She married Even Hagen in 1899.  He died in March 1949.

She was preceded in death by sons, Elmer and Lloyd, one brother and
four sisters.  She is survived by six sons, Clifford, Johnnie, Kensett;
Gilman and Eldon, Lake Mills; Bennie, Rockford, IL; and Leonard, Northwood;
four daughters, Mrs. Earl (Thelma) Swanson; Albert Lea; Mrs. Palmer (Mabel)
Lande, Northwood; Mrs. Wilbur (Mildred) Jensen, Mason City and Mrs. Alvin
(Juliette) Aarhus, Fairbault, MN; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren
and a brother, George Dokken, Kensett.
