OBITUARY: Florence Anna (Gentz) Bottleman, Worth County, Iowa

                    Monday services for Bottleman

Florence Anna Bottleman, 81, of Northwood, IA died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001
at her home in Northwood.

Funeral were Monday, at the First Lutheran Church, Northwood, with Rev.
Paul Holmer officiating.  Burial was at the Sunset Rest Cemetery, Northwood.

Florence Anna Bottleman was born September 1, 1920 in Otranto Township,
Mitchell County, Iowa to William and Matilda (Hanson) Gentz.  She married
Elmer Bottleman on July 1, 1942 in Unionville, MO. She raised her family
and worked along side her husband, Elmer, on the farm for 26 years.
After moving to town in 1967 she worked at Mercy Hospital as a nursing
assistant.  She also worked at Carroll George Inc. until retiring.  She
was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Northwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Elmer; two brothers Art
and Roy Gentz. She is survived by her children, Duwayne and wife Cheryl
Bottleman of Northwood, Donald and his wife Janet Bottleman of Grafton, Mary
Steffenson and her husband David of Watertown, MN, Ruth Gordon and her
husband Dennis of Fond du Lac, WI, Karen Pixley and her husband Galen of
Northwood, and Sharon Hartwell of Clear Lake, IA; two sisters, Dorothy Low
and Wilma Thompson both of Northwood; two brothers, Raymond Gentz and
William Gentz both of Northwood; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, Northwood, was in charge of arrangements.
