Will of Robert Scott, Union Township, Mifflin Co. PA. April 2, 1823
In the name of God Amen. I Robert Scott of the Township of Union in the County
of Mifflin State of Pennsylvania being infirm of body but of sound and disposing
mind and memory do hereby make publish and declare this my last Will and
Testament viz.
I give my body to the earth from whence it came and recommend my soul to the god
who gave it.
Second. After my just debts are discharged I give to my loving wife Rosanna and
to my daughter Rosanna all the residue of my personal property, household and
kitchen furniture, bonds notes and Book accounts.
Third. It is my will that my wife Rosanna be and she is hereby appointed sole
executrix to this my last will.
In witness whereof I have herewith set my hand and seal this second day of April
in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty three.

Transcriber's Note: On the cover of the Will is written "Filed 7th May 1823" so
I am assuming Robert Scott died sometime between those two dates but I have yet
to find the exact date. If his signature is any indication it wasn't long after
April 2nd.
