Will of Joseph Henderson Morrison (1828 - 1896) Belleville, Union Twp., Mifflin 
Co., PA
 
Be it Remembered, that I, Joseph Henderson Morrison of Belleville, PA hereby 
revoking all former Wills made by me, do make this my last Will and Testament, 
in manner as follows, that is to say;
 
I direct that my debts be paid with all convenient speed. It is my Will that the 
judgment of fifteen hundred dollars due me from Mrs. Ollie Duncan of Pittsburg, 
Pa, be cancelled after the interest due on the same at the time of my death 
shall have been paid to my executors.
 
To Charles B. Gibboney of Belleville, Pa, I will the house and lot on which he 
now lives, during his lifetime, he to pay all interest due me at the time of my 
death for the money I invested in this property, and at the time of his death  
the house and lot shall become the property of Albert Gibboney, son of William 
M. Gibboney of Belleville, Pa but in the case of Albert Gibboney's death 
occurring before the death of Charles B. Gibboney, then the property shall go to 
Lenore Gibboney and Hazel Gibboney, sisters of Albert Gibboney.
 
To Mrs. Katie Webb of Reedsville, Pa I will an oil painting of my mother which 
is now in my house, as well as a picture of my wife which is now being finished, 
and which shall be paid for out of my estate.
 
To Wilson Utts of Belleville, Pa I leave my gold watch, which formerly belonged 
to his brother Thomas.
 
To Miss Molly Fultz, who is now living under my roof, I give two hundred 
dollars.
 
I also direct that the sum of one hundred dollars be raised out of my estate and 
invested at interest in care of the Trustees of the West Kishacoquillas 
Presbyterian Church at Belleville, Pa and that the interest arising therefrom 
shall be spent keeping up the graves of my ancestors now buried in the 
Presbyterian Grave Yard near Menno, Pa and the same amount shall be raised out 
of my estate and invested at interest in care of the Trustees of the Lutheran 
Church  Belleville, Pa and the interest arising therefrom to be spent in keeping 
up my burial lot in the Belleville Cemetery adjoining the Lutheran Church.
 
All the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, real, personal and mixed, I 
give, devise. and bequeath unto Mrs. Vannie Graft of Pittsburg, Pa, her heirs, 
and assigns forever.
 
I constitute and appoint William M Gibboney of Belleville, Pa and Mrs. Vannie 
Graft* of Pittsburg, Pa the executors of this Will. In witness thereof, I have 
signed and sealed and declared this instrument, my last Will at Belleville, Pa 
on Dec. 3rd, 1896.

and for his last will, in the presence of us, who, at his request, in his 
presence, and in the presence of each other, have hereto set our names as 
witnesses.

Note: Mrs. Vanessa "Vannie" (Morrison) Graft was the adopted daughter and only 
child of Joseph Henderson Morrison and his wife Ella Merilla (Utts) Morrison. 
Ella predeceased Joseph in 1891.
