Mac Thorn, at one time a resident of this city, died at Sharon
Saturday as the result of injuries received by falling from a
northbound Pennsylvania train, near Pulaski, last Tuesday.
Thorn was 44 years of age and unmarried. He was born at Leesburg,
Mercer county. Some time ago he was employed at the Wayside Inn, in
the Seventh ward. Subsequently he went to Sharon, taking a position at
the Carver House.
The immediate survivors of the bereavement are a brother and sister,
B. F. Thorn of the Seventh ward, this city, and Mrs. John Alexander, of
Mercer. The interment took place at Mercer at 3 o'clock this
afternoon.
