  LENA GALBRAITH DIED AT SHARON
Body Brought to Titusville Last Evening

Mrs. Lena Galbraith, aged 41 years, wife of John Galbraith and
daughter of Mrs. Frances Schreiber of this city, died at the family
residence in Sharon at 6:15 o'clock Monday morning. She was in
Titusville two months ago, visiting with relatives here. She returned
home and soon after was taken ill with typhoid malaria. Everything
possible for her comfort and well being was done. But she sank
gradually until death relieved her of her suffering. The body was
brought here last night and taken to the home of Mrs. Schreiber on East
  Central avenue.
Mrs. Galbraith, who is known to very many Titusville people as Lena
Schreiber, was born in this city on Sept. 11, 1868, the daughter of
John and Frances Schreiber. She grew to womanhood here. She was twice
married. Her first husband is dead. By him she leaves four children:
Frank Wade of Medina, N.Y.; James and Helen Wade of Olean, N.Y., and
Evelyn Wade, residing at home. There also remain to mourn her death
her husband and one daughter, little Aileen Galbraith. There are three
sisters and one brother: Mrs. Charles Schoppert, Titusville; Mrs.
George Barley, Olean; Mrs. P. M. Peterson, Titusville; John Schreiber,
Rochester, N.Y. She was a good Christian woman, greatly beloved in her
family and highly esteemed by a wide acquaintance. Her death brings
  universal sorrow.
Funeral services in her remembrance will be held Thursday. Last
night the arrangements had not been fully perfected.
