Pa., deceased, died on the 2nd day of April 1898. filed.
Last Will and Testament of Peter Peterson of the Borough of Kane McKean Co.
Penn'a.
I, Peter Peterson, of the Borough of Kane, in the County of McKean, and State
of Pennsylvania do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, hereby
revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made:
And first I devise all my real estate, consisting of a piece or lot of land
situate in the Borough of Kane, in the County of McKean, and State of
Pennsylvania, at the northwest corner of Hames and Welsh Streets, having a
front on Hames Street of One hundred and twenty five feet (125 feet), and
extending along Welsh Street a distance of One hundred and forty five feet
(145 feet) containing 18.125 feet of land square contents, and having erected
thereon a two-story frame dwelling-house, to my four children in the
proportions following:
To my son, August Peterson, an undivided one-fourth part of the said land;
To my son, Albert Peterson, an undivided one-fourth part of the said land;
To my daughter, Elfreda Swanson, an undivided one fourth part of the said
land; and
To my daughter, Jennie Erickson, an undivided one fourth part of the said land.
Second I direct that all the rest and residue of my estate, whether real,
personal, or mixed shall descend to my children in equal one-fourth parts.
And I do make and ordain my said sons August Peterson and Albert Peterson
executors of this my last Will and Testament:
In Witness Whereof I, Peter Peterson, the Testator, have to this my will set
my hand and seal this Second day of September, in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and ninety six.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by the above named Peter Peterson, as
and for his last Will and Testament, in the presence of us, who have hereunto
set our names as witnesses thereto in the presence of each other and of the
testator.

State of Pennsylvania, County of McKean, SS:
Personally came before me Geo. W. Mitchell, Register for the Probate of
Wills and granting Letters of Administration, in and for the County aforesaid
John A. Bengtson and Andrew Skogland the subscribing witnesses to the
foregoing Will, who being duly sworn according to law, do say that they were
present, and saw and heard Peter Peterson the testator within named sign,
seal, publish, pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as
and for his last will and testament and that at the time of so doing he was of
sound mind, memory and understanding, to the best of their knowledge and
belief and that they signed their names as witnesses thereto in the presence
of and at the request of the said testator and in the presence of each other.
