  Homer Thomas Dies Suddenly
  Suffers Heart Attack At Work Tuesday
     Homer Thomas, lifelong resident of this vicinity, passed away Tuesday 
  afternoon about 2:30 o'clock. He was employed by the State Highway Maintenance 
  department and was helping in cindering the roads when he suffered a fatal 
  heart attack.
     He was taken to his brother Roy's garage where he died almost instantly.
     Mr. Thomas was born September 20, 1887 in East Smethport, the son of Mr. 
  and Mrs. Lewis R. Thomas.
     He is survived by his wife and one son, William, and his father, of 
  Smethport, and by five sisters: Mrs. A. M. Anderson, Smethport; Mrs. Olive 
  Schreiber, Portville; Mrs. Albert Hauber and Mrs. Louis Resnor (sic), Erie; 
  Mrs. E. E. Hopper, Atascadero, Calif.; and three brothers, Roy, of Smethport, 
  Clair of Buffalo and Almon (sic) of Lewis Run.
     Funeral arrangements were not completed last night.
