  Port Allegany Man Dies at Age 88
  Father of Mrs. Olga Thomas of Smethport
     Alfred Nelson, 88, lumberman and resident of Port Allegany for 47 years, 
  died at Smethport Wednesday, June 7, at 6:30 a.m.
     He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Olga Thomas of Smethport and Ada 
  Nelson, one son, Frank R., both of Port Allegany.
     Funeral services were held Friday at 2 o'clock at the Evangelical United 
  Brethren church at Port Allegany, the Rev. John D. Westley, pastor, 
  officiating. Burial was in Fairview cemetery, Port Allegany.
