  Archie L. Berg
  
     Archie L. Berg, 50, of Monaca, a former resident of Smethport, died Friday 
  night in the Rochester Hospital. He had resided in Monaca the past 20 years 
  where he was employed by Koppers Co.
     He was the son of the late Charles and Emily Peterson Berg.
     Mr. Berg was a member of the Monaca Methodist Church.
     Surviving are his wife, Marguerite; three sons, Thomas L., of the U.S. 
  Navy, stationed in California; C. Bruce and John A., both at home; two 
  brothers, Carl. H. Berg of Smethport, and Robert J. Berg of Bradford; one 
  sister, Mrs. Fred Gustafson of Smethport, two grandchildren, and several 
  nieces and nephews.
     The body was removed to Fry Funeral Home in Smethport where funeral 
  services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial was made in Rose Hill 
  Cemetery.
