NOTES:

According to an article on the Internet, Baltzer is 18th century German
for the name Balthasar.

Ages of some of the children on the 1860 census do not agree with the
birth years in the History of Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran
Congregation at Ohl, Beaver Twp., Jefferson
County, Pennsylvania 1835 1935. Compiled by Cornelius E.
Koppenheffer. Baptismal dates are also included in Mr. Koppenheffer's
compilation. Birth and Baptismal dates of the first 8 children are
taken from his work.

Baltzer and Susanna lost two children, Peter and George.

According to the Jefferson County, PA, 1900 census, Baltzer was living
at that time with his daughter Barbara and son-in-law Abraham Brosius.
See child #4. He lived 8 years longer than his wife.
