I Abner Barnet, Sr. of the County of Fulton and State of Pennsylvania do make 
and publish my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all 
former wills by me at any time heretofore make &c first I direct that my body 
be decently interred in the ground and that my funeral expenses be paid as 
soon after my decease as possible out of the first money that shall come into 
the hands of my Executors from any portion of my personal estate. I do also 
direct that my debts all be paid by my executors as soon as there is any 
money comes into thou hand from the proceeds of my real or personal estate. I 
also direct that my beloved wife shall have the one third of the proceeds of 
my real estate and to have two beds and to have the choosing of them herself. 
Also my beloved wife to have privilege of my house with the cooking utensils 
and all other necessary privileged thing in the house, also to have one milk 
cow to her own use, all these to hold so long as she remains my widow. I also 
direct that at the death or marriage of beloved wife all her property to fall 
back to my two sons Jonathan and John Barnet. I also direct my Executors to 
pay to my son Joseph Barnet seventy-five dollars to be paid at the expiration 
of eighteen months after my decease. I also direct that my son Abner who is 
insane at the last account I had of him, fifty dollars, if so be that he 
shall ever come to his right mind, but if not to be paid to his support in 
clothing and boarding. I also direct that all my real estate be equally 
divided between my two sons John Barnet and Jonathan Barnet and if thou shall 
any disputes arise in consequence of not being able to divide the farm so as 
to be equal they shall sell it and divide the money at the death of my widow, 
I also direct that my two sons John and Jonathan Barnet that have all the 
stock that shall belong to me at my decease. Also to have all the farming 
utensils and all other property that shall belong to me at my decease. Also 
they shall pay all my just debts, and I do hereby make and ordain Joshua 
Edwards and Jonathan Barnet my son Executors of this my last will and 
testament. In Witness whereof I Abner Barnet, Sr. the Testator have to this 
my will written on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this nineteenth 
day of June in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-
four.

Personally appeared before me the Deputy Register for the Probate of Wills &c 
in and for said County Solomon Stallmore and George Kesseling subscribing 
witnesses to the foregoing will who being duly sworn doth depose and say that 
they were present and saw the testator Abner Barnet sign seal publish 
pronounce and declare said instrument of writing as and for his last will 
Testament and at the time of so doing they believe he was of sound mind and 
memory to the best of their knowledge and belief and they witnessed said will 
in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other.

Be it remembered that on the 16th day of September on one thousand eight 
hundred and fifty four the last will and testament of Abner Barnet of the 
County of Fulton was duly proven and Letters of Testamentary granted thereon 
issued to Joshua Edwards and Jonathan Barnet the Executors therein, they 
being duly sworn according to law.
