Will of Robert Harrison Will Book 1 page 197
He gives wife Nancy all of his personal property outright also a tract
of land of 100 A lying near Waterford, Erie Co, Pa which was purchased by his
son Isaac & fell to me by his death to be at her disposal also part of
plantation beginning at Browns Run & running along Geneva Road & then east
taking all of buildings except barn, probably 15 to 20 Acres where "I now
live" for live
2d to my son Jacob the east part of the plantation
3d to son Robert, west part of plantation
4th to daughter Rebecca Redburn house & lot I purchased of Caleb Hannah ctg
abt 15 A. also the Snodgrass field of ground ctg 20 A & 3 A of timber land
adjg on side next to Michael "Deabold"
5th to daughter Sarah Hoover house & lot where she lives ctg 10 A & one field
on left hand side of road leading from Germantown to Geo Vance's, not
immediately on the road, but the nearest field of mine to said road & 3 A of
timber land adjg sd field on the side next to sd road.
6th to my daughter Mary, the plantation I purchased from Geo Smith in Luzerne
Tp. adjg James Gibson, Wm Ewing et al ctg abt 100 A also a bed & bedding, one
brown mare, saddle & bridle.
7th To Geo Gishard, the benefit & profits of the tract of land in Luzerne Tp
adjg lands of Mr Ball heirs of Porter et al during his natural life
8th & lastly, I give & bequeath to Desdemona Wheat, wife of Zachariah Wheat,
the last described plantation in Luzerne Tp subject to encumbrance as per last
bequest to Geo Gushard. (his wife was Nancy Gushard or Gishard of Luzerne Tp
& Desdemona is her natural daughter & Geo may have been her brother)
Appoints beloved wife Nancy, Andrew C Johnston & Jeremiah Kendall Exrs Dated
June 18, 1819 Robt Harrison (seal) Attest Jeremiah Kendall, Andrew Johnston,
Jesse Wheat. Probated Oct 5, 1819 before Alexander McClean Reg.
