Of dropsy, after a long and painful illness in Erie, on
the 2nd day of March, Hervey Hall, aged 82 years and 11
months.
Mr. H. was the father of Dr. P. Hall, and has left behind
his wife, Sarah (Hull),with whom he lived 62 years, and who
is now in her 84th year. He came to Erie County in 1821,
and located near Waterford, and some years afterwards
removed to Quincy, Chatauqua County, where he remained until
the winter of 1851, when he removed to Erie. Living beyond
the years usually allotted to a man, he has passed to the
enjoyment of a higher and better state of existance.

On the 14th of this month, Mrs. Sarah H. Hall (widow of
Hervey Hall), aged 90 years, 9 months and 25 days.
Friends and aquaintance are invited to attend the funeral
today at 3 o'clock, P.M., from her late residence, 134 West
Ninth street, in this city.
