Reno Evening Gazette, Sept. 16, 1876
John Davidson, the man who shot himself at Reno behind Earl's warehouse last

Saturday dies this morning at 2 o'clock at the County Hospital. He was a man

aged about 30. Sanders the undertaker will send the body in a freezer to Gold

Hill at half past four to-day, where he will be buried according to the rites

of the Odd Fellowship.

The blow is a heavy one to his family. His wife closely attended her

unfortunate husband through his sickness, and with a tender wife's affection

mourns her loss. Alas that where the soul is heavily laden with sorrow a kind

hand is so seldom extended to aid week and erring humanity.
