Reno Evening Gazette
J. Lee Cochran Dies Following Influenza

  J. Lee Cochran aged fifty-four years, a cigar maker, died at a local hospital

today, following paralytic strokes caused by an attack of influenza.

He was a native of Missouri, and had lived in Reno about eight years. He was

the husband of Mrs. Pearl Cochran, who died on November 26, 1922, of weakness

following a fifty-day fast, caused by a belief that food was harmful to her.

Mr. Cochran leaves a brother, John Cochran of Brekenridge, Mo., and two

children, Chester and Lucille Cochrane, aged about twelve years.
