Thomas C. Winslow, 80, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of 
Silvercreek Terrace and 1900 Bucktail Rd., St. Marys died Saturday at 
Pinecrest following a lengthy illness.

He was born on April 1, 1929 in Benezette, son of the late Merton and Ada 
Johnson Winslow.

He attended Benezette School and was a retired employee of Dominion Gas Co., 
retiring in 1991 after 35 years of service.

On Dec. 2, 1983 in Weedville, he married Shirley Cartwright , who preceded him 
in death in 2000.

Mr. Winslow is survived by a son, Ronald Winslow of Kersey; three 
grandchildren, Ashley Marie Pierce, Veron Randall Pierce, Jr., and Marlea 
Winslow; Peggy Bauer of St. Marys as a dear companion and friend; two step-
sons, Tron Cartwwright of St. Marys or Troy Cartwright of St. Marys.

In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death by a daughter, 
Linda Winslow Pierce in 2001; three brothers, Gerald Winslow, Robert Winslow 
and a brother in infancy.

He was a member of the Shiloh Presbyterian Church in St. Marys, a veteran of 
the Korean War having served from 1950-1952; a member of the Driftwood Masonic 
Lodge and the Coudersport Consistory. 

He enjoyed his trips to Salamanca and Canada in which he was very lucky.

Funeral services for Thomas Winslow will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski 
Funeral Home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Scott P. Weist, pastor of the 
Shiloh Prebyterian Church officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Cemetery. Full military rites will be 
accorded by the St. Marys Servicemens Burial Detail. Visitation is at the 
Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Tuesday morning from 10 -11 a.m. 

Memorials if desired may be made to a favorite charity.
