     WEEDVILLE-Enoch Walter Turley, 82, of Weedville R.D. 1 died Saturday at 
6:15 am in his home. He had been ill for two months.
     Born in Weedville, Nov 8, 1876, he was the son of Armel and Jennie 
(Potter) Turley and had lived in Bennett's Valley all his life. He had been 
the district game protector for 24 years.
     Mr. Turley was a member of the Ridgway Masonic Lodge and the Medix Run 
Sportsmen. He had been a Boy Scout Leader years ago and was a great hunter and 
fisherman.
     He married the former Helen Blanche Lucore on Dec 25, 1902. She now 
survives him along with two sons and one daughter, R.F. Turley, Martinsburg; 
Harry, Erie; Mrs. C.M. DeHaven, DuBois.
     Also surviving are a brother and a sister, A.R. Turley of Weedville, and 
Mrs. W.M. Morrison, of Milton, PA; four grand children and six great 
grandchildren.
     Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm from the Geer Funeral Home 
at Penfield, the Rev. T. R. Pagett officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion 
Cemetery, Weedville. Masonic services will be held this evening at 7 o'clock.
     Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 pm 
today and until services tomorrow.
