 Bradford (PA) Era, Mon, Oct. 16, 1972
  George B. McCracken
   

  George B. McCracken, 79, of 46 Buchannan Hollow, died at 1 p.m. Sunday in 
  the Bradford Hospital where he had been a patient since Sept. 20.
  
   He was born May 30, 1893 in Cibula [sic: Sabula], a son of Ross and Emily 
  Dixon McCracken.  He married the former Dorothy Smith in Tyler on Dec. 24, 

  1912.  Mr. McCracken was employed as a pumper for the South Penn Oil Co. 
  before his retirement in 1968.  He was a member of the First Free Methodist 

  Church.
     In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Benson 
  of Bradford; a son, Paul McCracken of Bradford; 21 
grandchildren and several 
  great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
     Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Hollenbeck Funeral 
Chapel.  
  Funeral arrangements will be announced.

     George B. McCracken, 79, of 46 Buchannan Hollow, died Sunday in Bradford 
  
Hospital, where he had been a patient since Sept. 20.  Friends may call at the 
  Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel after 3 p.m. today.  At 11 a.m. 
Wednesday, the body 
  will be removed to the First Free Methodist Church.  The Rev. Ronald Tovey 
  will officiate at the 1:30 p.m. funeral 
services at the church Wednesday, with 
  burial following in Willow Dale Cemetery.
