  Dorothy McCracken
     

  Dorothy E. McCracken, 99, 46 Buchanan Hollow died Thurs. morning in her 
  home.  She was born July 12, 1896, Gardner Hill, a daughter of Edward 
and Emma 
  Yale Smith.  On December 24, 1912, in Tyler, she married George B. McCracken, 
  who died October 15, 1972.  
       A resident of 
Bradford most of her life, Mrs. McCracken was a member of 
  the First Free Methodist Church, was a Sunday School teacher for many years 
  and
 was a member of the Women's Missionary Society of the church.
       Surviving are one son, Paul McCracken of Bradford; 15 grandchildren; 
  
several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; one brother, 
  Harry Smith of Tyler; two sisters, Dora Smith of Tyler and 
Gladys Beldon of 
  Sterling Run; and several nieces and nephews.
       Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three 
 
 daughters, Mildred Benson, Laura McNeely, and Lois Scott; one son, Robert 
  McCracken; four grandchildren, five brothers and one sister.
  
     Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm today at the Hollenbeck-Cahill 
  Funeral Homes, South Avenue.  Funeral and committal services 
will be held at 
  11 am Saturday in the First Free Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Brest 
  pastor, officiating.  Burial will be in Willow Dale
