ANNE ENGERT GEITNER

   Mrs. Anne Engert Geitner, widow of William J. Geitner, died at 11:35 pm 
Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Sharp (aka Margaret/Toots), 
120 Seneca Avenue, Warren, PA, at the age of 73 years.  Born in St. Marys, PA 
on September 10, 1876, she had been a resident of Warren for the past 35 years.

   Surviving are three sons and two daughters:  William T Geitner at home; 
Regist P Geitner Sr. and Mrs. Margaret B. Sharp, of Warren PA; Edward I. 
Geitner of Hornell, NY, and Mrs. Mary Ann Loucks (md. Art Loucks), of 
Clarendon Heights, PA; also 7 grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Mrs. 
Carried Acks (aka Kunigunda Engert) of Warren, PA, and Andrew Engert of St. 
Marys, PA.  Her husband preceded her in death on December 2, 1948.
  She was a member of St. Joseph's church and services in her memory will be 
held from theire at 10 am Thursday, with interment following in St. Joseph's 
cemetery.  Removal will be made from the Leo D. Gibson Funeral Home to the 
Sharp home, 108 Walnut Street, where friends will be received after seven 
o'clock this evening and where the parish rosary will be recited at eight 
o'clock Wednesday evening.


Additional Comments:
I believe 108 Walnut Street was the Geitner homestead in Warren, PA (not the 
Sharp home as stated above).
Pall Bearers were:  Joseph Acks, Clarence Anderson, Elwood Smith, Jereome 
Acks, Jerome Kugler and Regis Pfingstler.
Attending the rites from away were:  Joseph Schwabenbauer, Mrs. Theresa 
Schwabenbauer (my dad ref. to as Aunt Teres); M/M Maurice Kugler, Mrs. Theresa 
Nola, M/M Regist Pfingstler, Charles Pfingstler, Miss Corrine Engert, Andrew 
Engert, M/M Elwood Smith,all of St. Marys.  Mrs. Ben Schwartz, Miss Grace 
Schwartz, M/M Walfred Peterson, Miss Loretta Kugler, all of Cleveland OH.  M/M 
Jerome Kugler, Miss Gertrude Wolfe both of Kane PA.  M/M Fred Mendat of 
Johnsonburg.
