I.T. Frantz died Here Saturday
 
Services at home of his daughter in Ridgway this afternoon--was an old time tannery 
worker.
     Isaac Thomas Frantz, pioneer tannery worker in this part of the state for many years
 and a resident of Johnsonburg for a considerable time, died at his home on Clarion Rd. 
He was in his 76th year and was born in Penfield.
     The body was removed to Ridgway where it was prepared for burial and was then taken 
to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Portzer, from whose residence burial services 
will take place this afternoon with interment taking place at Thayer Memorial Cemetery 
by the side of his wife who died in 1924. Services will be in charge of Rev. N. B. Wilson 
of the Presbyterian Church. 
     He is survived by four daughters and three sons: Mrs. Harry Portzer, Mrs. Robert 
Irwin, Milton Frantz, Johnsonburg, Mrs. Harold Bressler, Richmond, VA, Mrs. John Donahue, 
Rasselas; Frank Frantz, Natrona Heights, PA; Stewart Frantz, Bradford; also two brothers, 
Curtis and Jacob, of Johnsonburg and twenty four grandchildren.
     Mr. Frantz lived his entire life in western Penn. He was an old time employee of 
the tannery at Medix Run.

Isaac Frantz
     Funeral Services for Isaac Frantz, of Johnsonburg, were held yesterday afternoon 
at 2:30 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Portzer, 201 Monroe Ave. Mr. 
Frantz died last Saturday evening at ten o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. 
Robert Irwin, in Johnsonburg.
     The services were in the charge of the Rev. N.B. Wilson, paster of the Presbyterian 
Churches in Ridgway and Johnsonburg. Interment was in the family plot in Thayer Memorial 
Cemetery.
     The pall bearers were: James Donahue, Wilcox; Richard and William Frantz of 
Bradford; Thomas and Lloyd Portzer, of Ridgway, grandsons of the deceased, and Paul 
Frantz, of Johnsonburg, a nephew.
     The out of town relatives and friends attending the funeral were: Mrs. Harold 
Bressler and daughter, Richmond, VA, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Irwin, Mr. and Mrs. Milton 
Frantz, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Frantz and son, Mr. and Mrs. Curtiss Frantz, Mr. and Mrs. 
James Irwin, Miss Jennie Irwin, Johnsonburg; Mr. and Mrs. John Donahue and son James, 
and daughters Bernice and Mary Ann, Wilcox; Stewart Frantz and sons, William, Richard, 
Robert and Bryant and daughter Mrs. Noa Gee, Bradford.
