                           BATIPPS - SINGLE

            Miss EDITH MARY BATIPPS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
        CLARENCE BATIPPS, of 14 Maple avenue, Springfield
        Township, and OTTIS SINGLE, of Gale avenue, Morton,
        eloped on Sunday, November 8, 1942, to Baltimore, Md.,
        and were married.
            The bridegroom left last Friday to serve in the U. S.
        Army. The bride has a brother CLARENCE BATIPPS, Jr.,
        who is in the Army, now at Fort Bragg, N. C.
            The bride was graduated from the Media High School
        class of 1939.
