CRYSTLE-MARTIN
Miss Anna Crystle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Crystle, of Upland,
and John Martin, also of upland, were married at St. Robert's Church at 3
o'clock this morning, by the Rev. John Graham. The bride wore a charming gown
of white lace, with long, light sleeves and uneven skirt, cut shorter in front
than in back. Lace ruffles trimmed with pearls and rhinestones were caught
about the skirt, and her veil of ????, which was arranged in a Spanish tiara
effect, was showered with orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of white
roses and lillies-of-the-valley.
The maid of honor, Miss Catharine Crystle, wore a gown of pink ribbon
taffeta, and a large pink picture hat and carried pink rosebuds, Anthony
Spanler, of Milmont, served as best man for Mr. Martin.
A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, after which the
couple left for a motor trip to Long Island and Newport, R. I. They will make
their home in Upland.
