Whereas Enoch Bonsall the younger, Son of Enoch Bonsall of Darby in the County 
of Chester and Province of Pennsylvania and Rachel Coulton the Daughter of 
William Coulton of Blockley in the County of Philadelphia and Province 
Aforesaid having Declared their Intentions of Marriage with each other before 
Several monthly Meetings of the people Called Quakers at Darby aforesaid 
According to the good Order Used Amongst them and having Consent of parents 
and relations Concerned their said proposal of marriage was allowed of by the 
said Meeting.  Now these are to Certifie whom it may Concern that for the full 
Accomplishing their said Intentions this Twenty fourth day of the fifth month 
Called may in the Year of our hard one Thousand and Seven Hundred and fifty 
eight they the Said Enoch Bonsall and Rachel Coulton appeared in a publick 
Meeting at Darby aforesaid and the Said Enoch Bonsall takeing the Said Rachel 
Coulton by [her?] hand did in a Solemn Manner Openly declare that he took her 
the Said Rachel Coulton to be his wife promising with the Lords Assistance to 
be unto her a loveing and faithfull Husband Untill Death Should Separate them 
And then and there in the Same Assembly the Said Rachel Coulton did in like 
Manner declare that She took the Said Enoch Bonsall to be her Husband 
promising with the Lords Assistance to be Unto him a loving and faithfull Wife 
Until Death Should Separate them.  And Moreover They the Said Enoch Bonsall 
and Rachel Coulton (She According to the Custom of Marriage Assuming the Name 
of her Husband) as a further Confirmation thereof did then and there to those 
presents Set their Hands

And we whose names are hereunto also Subscribed being present at the 
Solemnization of the Said Marriage and Subscription have as witnesses hereunto 
put our hands the Day and Year above written
