  July 1. - Another comrade gone in the person of Mr. Silas Clark who died 
  Saturday forenoon, aged about 70 years.  Mr. Clark and his daughters were on 
  their way to Union City and when near Lincolnville he complained of pain near 
  his heart and died shortly after with heart disease, while in his buggy.  The 
  remains were brought to Richmond for interment, the funeral taking place today 
  at 11 o'clock.  Rev. Stinchcomb preached the sermon in the M.E. church at 
  Richmond.  Deceased leaves a family of eight children to mourn his departure 
  to that higher life where he is at rest after the toils and care of this 
  earthly life.
