  JOHN L. ANDERHALT
     John L. Anderhalt, 82, RD 6, Meadville, died at 9:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 
  25, 1967, at St. Paul's Home for the Aged , Greenville, following a long 
  illness.
     He was born in Tidioute March 15, 1886, a son of Frank and Ellen Murphy 
  Anderhalt.  His wife, the former Gertrude Crannell, preceded him in death.
     Retired in 1953 as a car inspector for the Erie Railroad, he was a member 
  of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen of America.
     Mr. Anderhalt is survived by two sons, Richard J. and Edward P., and a 
  stepdaughter, Mrs. Walter T. (Alice) Derfus, all of Meadville; two brothers, 
  Nelson of Meadville and Wilbur of Celeron Park, N.Y.; one grandchild, one 
  great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
     Friends may call at the Russell D. Kennedy Funeral Home where services will 
  be held Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. with the Rev. Herbert A. Ziegler of Emmanuel 
  United Church of Christ officiating.  Interment will be at Saegertown Cemetery.
