Phillips-Ginn

Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Phillips of Carnesville, Georgia, announces the marriage of 
their eldest daughter, Miss Helen Virginia Phillips to Mr. Milton Eugene Ginn of 
Royston and Atlanta.

Mrs. Ginn received her education at the Franklin County High School and Southern 
Business University of Atlanta. She has been employed by Western Union Telegraph 
Co. as bookkeeper for the past two years.

Mr. Ginn is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Ginn of Royston, Georgia. He received his 
education at the Royston High School. He entered the U.S. Army in 1942. One year 
of service was spent overseas with the First Army. He saw action in Southern 
France, Belgium, and Germany. He received his discharge October 15. He no is 
holding a position with the Southern Railroad in Atlanta.

The couple was married on December 15 at the home of Mrs. E.T. Day in Atlanta. The 
bride wore a Que-green suit with black accessories and a shoulder corsage of red 
roses. Miss Iona Willingham of Roankoe, Ala. acted as Maid of Honor and Mr. Geo. 
Blackstock as Best Man. They were married by Rev. Gillam of Atlanta. 

After a few days visit with the couple's parents they will reside in Atlanta where 
they will make their home.
