Sell WILLIAM W. BOUSLOUGH, one of the substantial farmers and a life-long resident of Frankstown Township, Blair County, Pa., was born on his present farm December 25, 1866, and is a son of William and Anna (Fleck) Bouslough. His parents were both natives of Blair County, the father being of German descent, and a farmer by occupation. He spent his entire life in this county, was a Republican in politics, and a member of the Lutheran church. He was twice married, his first wife being a Miss Young, by whom he had two children, one of whom died in infancy, and Blair Y., who is a resident of Altoona. His marriage with Anna Fleck resulted in the following issue: Mary, who is deceased, was the wife of Lorenzo D. Stewart; Harry F.; Sadie, who is the wife of Robert Hileman; Anna Margaret, who is the wife of Fletcher Hand; William W.; and Lydia, who died young. William W. Bouslough spent four months each year in the common schools of the township until eighteen years of age, and assisted his father on the farm during the summer months. He has made farming his life occupation, and has always lived on his present place, which he inherited from his father in 1904, although he has operated it for himself for the past twenty years. On November 26, 1891, Mr. Bouslough married Miss Ora H. Caldwell, who is a daughter of Sylvester and Carrie (Smith) Caldwell. The father is a native of Clarion County and the mother of Bedford County, but have resided in Blair County since the close of the Civil war. They are the parents of the following children: Ora H., wife of our subject; T. N. and Rhoda and Grace, both of whom died in infancy. Three children have been born to Mr. and Mrs. Bouslough, namely: Anna C., Ralph W. S., and Nicholas Fleck, all residing at home. In politics Mr. Bouslough is identified with the Republican party, and has served two terms as inspector of elections, and as road master one term. The family belongs to the Lutheran church.
