                 Will of Isaac Vanhorn, 1830

In the name of God, amen, I Isaac Vanhorn of the Township of
Northampton, the county of Bucks, Farmer, being now in Eighty sixth
year of my age, enjoying tolerable ___ health and memory for a man of
my advanced years for which I am thankful, and knowing by the course
of nature I may soon pass from time to eternity, Do think it best for
my children ___ I make this my last will and testament for the
distribution of the estate wherewith I am blessed.

First, In order do equal justice to all my children who are equally
___ to me, it will be necessary that all my estate be sold,
therefore, I give, devise, and bequeath all my estate, Real and
personal, to Enos Mor___ and Jonathan Lefferts, my Executors, herein
after named to be by them sold as soon after my decease as they may
think proper in order that __ best may be made of the same at public
or private sale and after the payment of my debts and funeral
expenses, it is my will that they divide the remaining clear estate
equally among all my children, Namely, Mary Vanhorn, Rebecca Vanhorn,
Sarah Moore, Abraham Vanhorn, Samuel Vanhorn, John Vanhorn, Aaron
Vanhorn, Martha Smith, Charles Vanhorn, and Ann S. Vanhorn and I give
the same to them according by share and share alike, and

Secondly, I do hereby authorize and appoint James P. Moore to be the
care___ and charge of my daughter Rebecca Vanhorn who is incapable to
provide for herself in consequence of fits which she has been
afflicted _____??______ via a reason, and the aforesaid James P.
Moore is to be paid out of her share of my estate such compensation
for her clothing, boarding, and such Mendane as she may need __ my
executors shall deem a just and reasonable compensation, after her
decease and her funeral expenses paid the remainder of her share if
any there shall be to be equally divided among my other children
above named and

Lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint the aforesaid Enos Mor_
and Jonathan Lefferts Executors of this my last will and testament
hereby authorizing them to sell my estate and execute title to the
purchase or purchasers thereof for __ same.  I have thus thought it
proper to appoint Executors of this my will out of my family in order
to prevent any jealousy that might by any plausibility arise among my
children on that account.  In testimony __ all which I have here unto
set my hand and affixed my seal dated the twenty fourth day of
December AD 1830.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by Isaac Vanhorn the testator
as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us:
