  Will of Elizabeth C. Jenks  (written 30th Apr. 1887; pr. 10th Oct. 1900)
  
  Know all men by these presents that I Elizabeth C. Jenks of Yardley, in the 
  County of Bucks and State of Pennsylvania, widow, being of sound mind, memory 
  and understanding, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby 
  revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
  First, I give and bequeath to each of my children, Thomas C., Anna W., Samuel 
  C. Jenks and Caroline W. Stephens, one bureau, one bedstead, one bed and 
  clothing sufficient for one bed; my daughters taking their choice of the same.
  Second, My silverware I desire to be divided between my two daughters Anna W. 
  Jenks and Caroline W. Stephens if they survive me, if only one of them be 
  living at that time, that one to have it all.
  Item.  I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter Anna W. Jenks all the rest 
  residue and remainder of my estate real, personal and mixed to have and to 
  hold for and during the term of her natural life, or so long as she may remain 
  single.  And in case of her marriage I give, devise and bequeath all of my 
  said residuary estate to my children equally share and share alike and in case 
  my daughter Anna W. Jenks shall die unmarried then I give, devise and bequeath 
  all of my said residuary estate to my remaining children share and share alike 
  and in case either of my said children shall die leaving a child or children, 
  then said child or children shall take the parents share.
  And I do authorize and empower my said daughter Anna W. Jenks, to sell and 
  convey any or all of my real or personal estate whenever she may see fit at 
  either public or private sale and to grant, convey and asure the same to the 
  purchaser or purchasers thereof in fee simple, the proceeds thereof to be 
  safely invested under and subject to the conditions of the bequest of my 
  residuary estate.
  And lastly I nominate, constitute and appoint my said daughter Anna W. Jenks 
  to be the executrix of this my last will and testament without Comm (sp)
  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the Thirtieth day of 
  April in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and eighty seven.

  Named, as and for her last will and 
  Testament in the presence of us, who in
  Her presence, at her request, and in the 
  Presence of each other, have hereunto          Elizabeth C. Jenks (seal)
