Alexander BOTHEL, Borough of Newtown, Bucks County Pennsylvania

I Alexander BOTHEL of the Borough of Newtown Bucks County and State of
Pennsylvania being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind and memory do
make this my last Will and Testament in writing in manner as follows viz.
IN the first place, I order and direct, all my Just debts and funeral Expenses
and all charged touching the proving of this my will fully paid and discharged
by my Executors herein of the named, out of my Estate and I hereby with will
my said Executor to sell at public or private sale such parts of my personal
Estate as my wife Sarah can best spare for that purpose. ITEM It is then my
will that my dear wife Sarah Shall have the possession use of income of all
the remainder of my Estate real personal and mixed during her natural life and
should such income to be insufficient for my said wifes comfort and support It
is then my will, that my wife be at liberty to sell any part of my personal
property she may desire, for that purpose, and further if it becomes necessary
to sell my real Estate for her support, then I order my Executor here in after
named to sell the same, for the best price that can be obtained therefore and
convey the same in fee to the purchases thereof, Taking care to secure the
balance not needed for the above named purpose by mortgage upon real estate.
And if not Sold before I order my Real Estate sold after my said wifes
decease. ITEM It is then my will at the decease of my said wife Sarah that the
balance of my estate which may be left, after carrying out the foregoing
provisions of this my will be disposed of as follows Viz. ITEM to my son
William BOTHEL I give one dollar. To my son Benjamins children I give each
one dollar. To my son James children I give each one dollar. To my son John
BOTHEL, I give one dollar. To my son Andrew BOTHEL I give one dollar. To my
son George BOTHEL I give one dollar. To my daughter Rebeccas child I give one
dollar. To my son Alexander BOTHEL I give Fifty dollars and to my son Samuel
BOTHEL, by my last wife I give and devise the remainder to him his heirs and
assigns forever And I appoint John BOWSLEY Executor to this my last will and
Testament. In Testimony here I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 6th day
of March in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fifty one 1851.

Signed Sealed and delivered by the Testator to be his last will Testament in
the presence of us who were in the presence of each other

Bucks County SS. On the fifty day of May A.D. 1851 personally appeared before
me Joseph Carver Register of Wills in and for the County of Bucks Abraham BOND
and John FENTON the subscribing witnesses to the annexed instrument of writing
purporting to be the last will and Testament of Alexander BOTHEL deceased and
being first duly affirmed did dispose and say that they were present and saw
and heard Alexander BOTHEL the Testator Sign and Seal publish, pronounce and
declare the annexed paper writing as and for his last will and Testament and
that at the time of his signing he was of sound mind and memory and disposing
as understanding as to the best of their knowledge and belief

Be it remembered that on the fifth day of May A.D. 1851 the annexed last will
and Testament of Alexander BOTHEL deceased was duly proved when letters
Testamentary thereon were granted unto John BARNSLEY by the executor therein
named he having been duly affirmed will and truly to administer the goods and
chattels rights and credits of said deceased according to law and also
diligently and faithfully to regard and will and truly comply with the
provision of the law relating to collateral inheritances
