Bond for Due Administrg the Estate of James Barber Deceased

Know all Men by these Presents that me Elizabeth Barber widow and relict 
of James Barber of Bristol Township in the County of Bucks, James Barber 
of the same Township in the County afroesaid Yeoman and Thomas Janney of 
Newtown of the said County afsd.Mason are held and firmly bound unto 
Benjamin Chew Esq. Register General for the Probate of Wills and Granting 
of Letters of Administration in anf for the province of Pennsylvania in 
the sum of Three hundred Pounds Lawful money of Pennsylvania aforesaid 
to be paid to the said Benjamin Chew Esq. --- --- Registor or Register 
General of the said Province to which payment will be well and truly to 
be made and Bind Ourselves and Each and Every of Us by himself for the 
whole sum and the Heirs Executors and Administrators of Us jointly and 
Severally firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals Dated the Fifth 
Day of November Annoque Domini  1768

The Condition of this Obligation is such that if the above Bound Elizabeth 
Barber Widow and Administrix of all and Singular the Goods and Chattels 
and Credits of James Barber the Elder Late of Bucks County aforesaid Yeoman --- 
or make Caus to be made a just and perfect inventory of all and Singular 
the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Decsd which have or shall come 
to the hands possession of any other Person or Persons for Her and the same 
so made to exhibit or cause to be Exhibited into the Registers Office in 
the County of Bucks at or before the Fifth Day of December next Ensuing 
and the same Goods Chattels and Credits of the Said Decsd at the time of 
his Death or at any time after shall come to the hands or possession of 
the said Elizabeth Barber, or into the hands and Possession of any other 
Person or Persons for her Do well and truly administer according to Law 
and further do make or cause to be made a true and just account of 
administration at Or before the Fifth Day of November in the Year 1769 
and all the Rest and Residue of the said Goods Chattels and Credits which 
shall be found Remaining upon the said administrators the same being first 
examined and allowed by the Orphans Court of the said County of Bucks shall 
deliver and pay unto such Persons or Persons Respectively to the said 
Orphan Court by their decree Or Sentence shall Limit and appoint and if 
it shall thereafter appear --- a Last Will and Testament was made by the 
said Deceased and the Executor or Executors therein named Do Exhibit the 
same into the Registers Office Requesting to have it allowed and approved 
accordingly of the said Elizabeth Barber above Bound being the --- Required 
do Render and Deliver up the said Letters of Administration --- of such 
Testament being first had and made in the said Registers Office Then Their 
Obligation --- said or else to Stand and Remain in full force and virtue
