Will of BEATTY, Alexander    Bell Township   File No. 1154   Date 2 June, 1873

    I, Alexander BEATTY, considering the uncertainty of this life, 
being of sound mind and memory, do make amd publish this, my last will 
and testament in manner and form following, that is to say:
First, I give and bequeath unto Julia Ballentine and heirs, all my real estate
Item.  I give and bequeath to her and her heirs all my household furniture, 
farming utensils, and stock.  I give and bequeath this same to Julia Ann 
Ballentine, whom I hereby appoint sole executor of this, my last will 
and testament, hereby revoking all foormer wills by me made.
    In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and  seal the second day of 
    June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy three
                        Alexander Beatty
    Signed, sealed, published, and declared by the above named Alexander Beatty 
to be his last will and testament in the presence of us, who at his request, 
and in his presence, have subscribed our names as witness hereunto.

Now personally appeared Adam Cupler and John Cupler, witnesses to the 
foregoing last will and testament, who being duly sworn according to law, do say
that they were present and see and heard Alexander Beatty sign, seal, publish 
and declare this as and for his last will and testament, and at the doing thereof, 
he  was of sound and disposing mind, memory, and understanding to the best 
of their knowledge and belief.

Signed and subscribed this 7 August A.D. 1873 before me. A.S. Sey, Reggister

Now personally appeared Julia Ann Ballentine, the execitrix within named,
who being duly swprn according to law, doth say that she  will well and 
truly perform  the duties of executrix under this will according to the law  
and the conditions of the will
