  [THE FINAL SETTLEMENT OF DAVID SWAB'S ESTATE 1878]
   
  No 11. November Term 1878
  Auditors Report In the matter of the Final Account of John Keck administrator 
  of David Swab late of Red Bank Township Decd In the Orphans Court of Clarion 
  Clarion County.
  
  To the Honorable the Judges of the Orphans Court of Clarion County The 
  undersigned Auditor appointed by Your Honors to distribute the funds in the 
  hands of the administrator to and among those entitled to receive the same begs 
  leave to report as follows.  That having been duly sworn to perform the duties 
  of his appointment he gave notice of the time and place of meeting by 
  publication by their insertions of said notice in the Clarion Democrat a weekly 
  Newspaper published in Clarion Boro. in said County at which time and place the 
  testimony hereto attached was taken Your Auditor finds the facts to be 
  substantially as follows John Keck the accountant filed his first partial 
  account in the estate of said David Swab on the 27th day of March AD 1875 which 
  was duly confirmed showing showing a balance in the hands of the accountant of 
  $313.10. On the day of AD 18. said accountant filed a second partial account in 
  said estate which was also duly confirmed showing a balance in the hands of the 
  accountant of $3,247.66 for distribution among the heirs as this appears to 
  have been the proceeds of the sale of Real estate the Administrator without the 
  intervention of an auditor appears to have distributed the two thirds of said 
  fund among the heirs and legal Representatives of the decedent and returned the 
  remaining one third in his hands upon which he paid the interest to the widow 
  of the decedent during her lifetime the widow having died the accountant then 
  filed his final account of the remaining one third from which the fund for 
  distribution arises in this case. The heirs and legal representations of the 
  said David Swab are as follows Viz Margaret Swab intermarried with Henry 
  Siverling, Elizabeth Swab intermarried with Henry Miller, Catherine Swab 
  intermarried with J. F. Miller, Mary Jane Swab intermarried with John Rader, 
  Theressa Swab intermarried with Columbus Stahlman, Adam Swab, Levi Swab, David 
  M Swab and Sallie A Smith intermarried with W W Stoffer, Lizzie J Smith 
  intermarried with Lingenfellter, Adam F. Smith, Rachel E. Smith, John E. Smith, 
  David B. Smith and Milton H Smith who are children of Christina Swab Now 
  deceased who was intermarried with Gideon Smith the last four of whom are 
  Minors and have for their Guardian W M King of these heirs Adam Swab in the 
  lifetime of his father received the sum of Eight hundred dollars which appears 
  to have been an advancement on his share of his fathers estate as shown by a 
  receipt hereto attached D M Swab another son also received the sum of Seven 
  hundred dollars from his father in his lifetime which appears also to have been 
  treated as an advancement out of the estate of deceased Levi Swab a third son 
  purchased a tract of land from his father in the lifetime of the latter and as 
  part of the Consideration Eight hundred was insuted as a payment on his share 
  of the estate of his father as shown by a reference to Deed Book O No 2 Clarion 
  County - Page 27 as these facts are not Controvrated and the sums thus paid are 
  still in excess of the amounts the remaining heirs have received or will 
  receive out of the fund now for distribution Your auditor has distributed the 
  fund among the remaining heirs and has not allowed the three persons above 
  mentioned any of said fund Your Auditor herewith submits a schedule of 
  distribution of the amount in hands of accountant the two thirds above 
  mentioned having been distributed by the administrator Vide receipt hereto 
  attached I certify that I am not concerned as counsel for or related to any of 
  the parties in this distribution nor interested in its result All of which is 
  respectfully submitted
