  George Curtis Snyder November 1,1962
  
  George Curtis Snyder, of New Bethlehem, died on Thursday, November 1, in the
  Clarion Osteopathic Hospital.
  
  Mr. Snyder, a son of C. M. and Clarissa Jane Yarger Snyder, was born April
  17, 1884, in Timblin.  He was married to Monna Shindledecker, who died May,
  1927.
  
  He is survived by three daughters and two sons:  Mrs Lela Ballentine, of
  Blawnox; Mrs. Ivan (Ethel) Bish, of Fairmount City; Mrs. Evelyn Sherman, of
  Hawthorn; Howard C. Snyder, of Westfield, and Leonard H. Snyder, of New
  Bethlehem.  He also leaves 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, one
  sister, Mrs. Ora Geer of New Bethlehem, and four brothers:  Thomas Snyder,
  of R4, New Bethlehem; Elmer Snyder, of Freeport; Melvin Snyder, of Distant,
  and Frank Snyder, of R2, Dayton.
  
  Two sisters, Mrs. Dessie Miller and Mrs. Elsie Mohney; a son, Ralph John
  Snyder, and a grandson, Dennis Kent Sherman, preceded Mr. Snyder in death.
  
  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Mateer Fun- (Note article
  is missing a line where Mateer Funeral is hyphenated) Claar and the Rev.
  A.F. Thomas officiating.  Burial was made in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
