  Mildred E. Simpson died December 26, 1940
  
  Mildred E. Simpson 37, wife of Frank A. Simpson, died at 12:50 oclock
  Thursday morning, December 26, 1940 at her home 144 A Washington Avenue,
  Vandergrift, following a lingering illness.
  
  Mrs. Simpson is survived by her husband Frank A. Simpson; one son, Jack, Age
  15 years; her mother, Mrs. P. A. Byers, Rimersburg, and three sisters, Mrs.
  Kenneth Smith, Mrs. Wm. Connor, both of Rimersburg, and Mrs. Harold Lower of
  New Bethlehem.
  
  The body remained in the Thompson Funeral Home Vandergrift until Saturday
  afternoon when it was removed to the home of her mother in Rimersburg where
  funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in charge of the Reverend Ralph
  Atchinson.  Burial was made in the Rimersburg cemetery.
