  Clyde A. SHORTS, 75, a retired drilling contractor of Shippenville died at 9 
  a.m. Monday in the Clarion Hospital of a heart attack.

  Born in Fern, Clarion County August 24, 1882 he was the son of Albert H. and 
  Mary STROTMAN.  He was married June 15, 1910 to Mable MASTER. 

  Mr. SHORTS was a member of the Shippenville Methodist Church and the Gideon 
  Bible Class of that church.

  Surviving are his widow, four children, Mrs. Raymond (Grace) MASON of 
  Titusville, Mrs. George S. (Mildred) KAPP of Shippenville, Mrs. Joseph K. 
  (Hazel) WORK of Marion Center, Leland C. SHORTS of Danville, O., one sister, 
  Mrs. Arthur KAPP of Kossuth, one brother, Lee R. SHORTS of Ashland, O., 13 
  grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

  Three brothers, Clair, Decatur and Nelson SHORTS, and one sister, Mrs. Harvey 
  MASTER preceded him in death.
  
  Services were conducted at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday in the Shippenville Methodist 
  church with Rev. Nicola...
