  Susan Charlotte Sherman died January 27, 1941
  
  Mrs. Susan Charlotte Sherman, of Fairmount City, aged 85 years, 8 months and
  14 days, died Monday, January 27, 1941, at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
  C.L. Hadden, East Penn street.
  
  Mrs. Sherman, the daughter of John and Catherine Bowersox Null, was born May
  13, 1855 in Limestone township Clarion county.  She was the last surviving
  member of her fathers family of eight children.  On December 26, 1871 she
  was married to Jacob Sherman, who died June 13, 1923. To this union were
  born eight children, two of whom are now living, Mrs. Charles L. Hadden and
  Mrs. Walter Fox, both of Fairmount City.
  
  Also surviving are twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and
  four great great grandchildren.
  
  Mrs. Sherman was the oldest resident of Fairmount City, having made her home
  in that village for last sixty-five years.
  
  Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, January 30, at 2:30
  oclock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. L. Hadden, East Penn street, in
  charge or Dr. A. C. Locke.  Interment will be made in the family plot in the
  Middle Run Cemetery.
