MRS. MARY FYE

Mrs. Mary Fye died at her home in Alum Rock, this county, Aug. 13, 1909,
aged ninety-six years. Paul Fry, her husband recently died at the age of
94 years. Mrs. Fry was, perhaps the oldest woman in Clarion County and
had lived 71 years with her husband at his death. She was sound of mind
and in good health to within a few days of her death.

Mrs. Mary Fry, widow of the late Paul Fry, whose death at the age of 94
years occured some time ago, died at her home here Friday, August 13, in
her 96th year. They were the oldest couple in Clarion County at the time
of the death of her husband, having lived together for 71 years.

Mrs. Fry was of sound mind and in good health up to with in a few days
of her death. She was the mother of nine children. Of these the following
survive: William F. and Mrs. G. Stubble of Turnipole, Clarion Co.; Mrs.
Goerge Altman, Emlenton, Samuel Fry, Indiana, George Fry, Alum Rock; Mrs.
Mark Wesner, Parkers Landing; Mrs. Samuel Shaner, Lamartine; and Mrs. William
Tosh, Alum Rock.

The deceased was a member of the Reformed Church of St. Petersburg, Clarion
County, where the funeral services were held.
