JAMES KNIGHT, Oak Forest, Penn., one of the enterprising young farmers of 
Wayne Township, was born January 27 1848, and is a son of David and Mary 
Knight (nee Fry), who are natives of Greene County, Penn., where they were 
married and now reside in Centre Township.  They are the parents of nine 
children, seven of whom are living.  James Knight's wife was Elizabeth S., 
daughter of Jacob and Frances (Tustin) Cole, natives of Greene County and 
now residents of Waynesburg.  Mr. and Mrs. Knight were married August 29, 
1868.  Their children are--John H., Frances A., William M. and Mary C.  As 
noticed at the beginning of this sketch, Mr. Knight is a farmer by 
occupation, and has give much attention to the raising of fine stock.  His 
farm contains 156 acres.
