Members of Racine Ledge. No 92. F. & A.. M.., the Danita society and other organizations today joined in paying a final tribute to one of their most beloved members, Frederick Rasmussen, whose death occurred at the home of his niece Mrs. Otto Kopitzke. 1623 Wocdrow Avenue. The bodv lay in state in the Masonic Temple for several hours previous to the funeral services, which began at 2 o'clock. Many of the members of the Masonic lodge and Dania society and lather friends passed before the bier during those hours, as Mr. Rasmussen was about the oldest member of those organizations and a man who held the many friendships he had made during his residence of 54 years in Racine. There were many floral offerings. A large number of friends accompanied the body to Mound Cemetery, where it was buried with solemn rites. Active pallbearers were members of the Masonic order, and the honorary pallbearers were all members of Dania society, all close friends of Mr Rasmussen. The Rev Frank Nielsen, paster of Our Savior's church, preached the sermon at the Masonic Temple. For many years, he has maintained his home at 820 State Street, but for the past 10 years, he had lived with his niece, Mrs. Frank Bramow, 1211 Geneva Street, and it was only a short time before his death that he went to Iive with his other niece, Mrs. Kopitzke.
