Announcing a marriage of much interest was that of Miss Mary Ruth Parten of Macon, 
to Mr. Dorsey L. Reese of Atlanta. A double ring ceremony was performed in the 
home of Rev. Cooley of Franklin Springs November 27th at five o'clock.

The bride wore a tight two piece brown suit with matching accessories including 
two string pearls, a gift from the groom and her lovely corsage of yellow roses.

Miss Parten  is the youngest daughter of Mrs. A.G. Parten and the late A.G. Parten 
of Royston. She has held a position for the past six years with the Macon Textile 
Inc. of Macon. She received most of her education in Hart county.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. P.R. Reese of Canon. He served the U.S. Army 
for four years, six of which was in foreign service in the European theatre. At 
present he is employed by the Atlanta Metallic Casket Co. of Atlanta where he has 
held a position for the past two years since his discharge from service.

After the ceremony the couple left for a wedding trip to the Carolinas. They will 
make their home in Atlanta. Many friends wish to congratulate them.
